Report: Child, civilian killed in 54+ Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours


SANAA, April. 15 (YPA) – A child and a civilian were killed and three civilians, including women, were injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched more than 54 airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen provinces over the past 24 hours, according to medic and military reports combined by Yemen press Agency on Sunday.

  • In Taiz province:

A child was killed and two women were injured in airstrikes targeted Haead area of Barah district.

A civilian was killed in an airstrike targeted his care which was loaded with vegetables in Kamb area of Maqbanah district.

Two airstrikes were waged on the near of residential city of cement factory workers in Barah district and Haijah area.

An airstrike on the north of Khaled camp of Mowazea district.

  • In Saada province:

A civilian was injured by the fire of Saudi border guards in Raqw area of Munabeh district.

Two airstrikes were waged on Jadida university in Qazah area.

Four air raids on Mahather area of Sehar district.

Two airstrikes hit Jahlah area of Razeh border district.

Two airstrikes were launched on Ghur area of Ghamer border district.

An airstrike targeted Akwan area of Safraa district.

7 airstrikes hit on Sawh and Farea areas of Kutaf district.

An airstrike was waged on Adhiaq area of Kutaf.

Meanwhile, missile and artillery shelling targeted several areas of Haidan, Dhahir, Razeh, Munabeh and  Ghamer districts.

  • In Hodeidah province:

An airstrikes was waged on Bab-Faj of Jabal-Ras district.

An airstrike on Jelda area of Jurahi district.

Two airstrikes were launched on the near of Jaba-Ras junction.

  • In Sanaa province:

Two airstrikes were waged on the north of Sanaa airport.

  • In Hajjah province:

13 airstrikes hit Haradh and Medi districts.

  • In Lahj province:

An airstrike was waged on Hammam mountain in Karsh district.

  • In Border province of Najran:

An airstrike was launched on Talaa site.

10 Saudi-led airstrikes hit Shabakah sites.
