Official in Hadi’s government escapes assassination in Shabwa
SHABWA, July 23 (YPA) – A senior official in the exiled Hadi’s government on Tuesday survived from an assassination attempt in Shabwa province, southeast of Yemen.
Sources reported that Ahmed Salem Khiran, director of fisheries office in the province, was exposed to an armed attack by by unknown gunmen in Bir Ali area.
The province of Shabwa, under the control of the occupation militias of the United Arab Emirates security breach since the second half of the year 2015, and armed conflict between them and the forces of “Hadi” and Ali Mohsen in the control of the sources of oil and marine resources.
Since the second of half of the year 2015, Shabwa province has been witnessing a state of insecurity under the domination of the UAE occupation militias, who are in conflict with forces loyal to Hadi and the military leader in Islah Party Ali Mohsen to control the oil resources and fish wealth in the province.
