MARIB, April 13 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi-led coalition-backed militias, including leaders, were killed and injured on Thursday by Yemen army’s fire in the south of Marib province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Friday.
The militias were killed, including the commander of the third battalion in 117th Brigade of militia called Mohammed Ahmed Sndouh and the commander of Abdi Front Ali Abdullah al-Saidi in quality operations of Yemen army in Qaniah Front.
Yemen army was inflicted the militias heavy casualties and seized weapons, the official added.
The official pointed out that these specific operations come after the militias have broken previous covenants and agreements in avoiding any clashes in Qania area.
