UAE-backed militias reject probing Shabwah’s oil pipeline bombings

SHABWAH, June 30 (YPA) – Local sources in Yemen’s southern province of Shabwah said on Sunday that the United Arab Emirates-backed militias rejected investigation of oil and gas pipeline bombings in Shabwah province.

According to the source, the militias didn’t allowed passing a committee charged with investigating to go to the targeted site.

The committee, which is formed by the Saudi-appointed governor Mohammed Salah Bin Adiu, stopped and returned to Ataq city, the capital of province.

Last week, the governor formed to probe in the bombings that targeted oil and gas pipelines in the UAE-backed militias-held al-Radhma area.
