Update: Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Jizan

JIZAN, June 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday repelled large-scale attacks carried out by mercenaries loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the militants were killed and wounded, in the battle, which took place in the eastern part of Dood Mountain.

Earlier in the day, the army forces have thwarted another attack carried out by the Saudi-hired mercenaries on the army’s positions in front of Sudis position, inflicting heavy casualties on their ranks.
