Minister in Ben Dagher government accuses UAE of detaining Hadi in Riyadh

SANAA, April (YPA) – The minister of the interior in Saudi-backed government of Aden, Ahmed al-Misri, on Sunday accused the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of preventing Riyadh-based resigned president Hadi from returning to the city of Aden.

In an interview with Radio France International,  Al-Masiri confirmed that Saudi authorities do not want to end the war in Yemen, and they do not want to restore the Yemeni state, claiming that if they wanted to liberate Taiz or Sana’a province, it would has done only in one day.

Hadi’s Cairo-based Prime Minister, Ahmed Bin Dagher, said such statements were unacceptable, claiming that Hadi could return to Aden whenever he wanted.

The move came in the time, when many reports confirmed that coalition prevented Ben Dagher from return to the city of Aden, because it stipulated his return to Yemen to dismiss Al-Misiri.

The reports also indicated that Khaled International Airport security service prevented a number of members of the family of Hadi from leaving Riyadh for unknown reasons.
