Saudi-led coalition sets some conditions on Yemenia Airlines to resume its flights

ADEN, June 1 (YPA) – Minister of Transport in the coalition-backed government Saleh al-Jabwani has said that Saudi-led coalition has set some terms and conditions on Yemenia Airlines to resume its flights to and from Aden International Airport, in southern Yemen.

In a tweet, he confirmed that he had been told by the coalition leadership of their agreement to increase flights for Yemenia to 8 flights a day, but they linked the increase with some conditions, which were not disclosed.

He pointed out that most of the conditions set by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemenia Airlines were approved, while some others were not approved, which is still awaiting approval from the alliance.

Al-Jabwani further indicated that the coalition has stopped some commercial flights for the benefit of international organizations, which is the same old problem that Yemen suffers from.
