Defeat of Saudi Arabia in Yemen foils launching of war on Iran: Nasrallah

LEBANON, June 1 (YPA) – Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Friday said that the defeat of Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen was the reason for holding summits in Mecca and foiled the launching of war against Iran.

In his speech on the occasion of celebrating the International Quds Day in the southern suburb, Nasrallah noted that all these summits will not protect the Saudi regime from the Yemeni army and popular committees.

Nasrallah confirmed that the defeat of Saudi Arabia in Yemen has made it back down with its allies from launching a war against Iran, and the evidence for that is the summits held hastily.

He mocked of the Saudi position saying “Saudi Arabia, which failed and was defeated in Yemen, could it wage war on Iran?”
