Large numbers of “shrimp” die in Mukalla shores

MUKALLA, May 29 (YPA) – The coasts of Mukalla city in Hadramout province, southeast Yemen, have witnessed the death of large numbers of shrimps.

The dead shrimp spread along al-Sitteen coast of the city, forcing the coast goers to leave.

Activists in social media websites explained that the death of shrimp comes as a result of the failed project implemented by the province authority to discharge sewage to the sea.
