Update: Yemeni air defenses down coalition spy aircraft south Sanaa

SANAA, May 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni air defenses at midnight on Tuesday announced the downing of a spy plane belonging to Saudi-led coalition forces in Beit Bos area south of the capital Sanaa.

A military source revealed that the downed plane is American-made aircraft of MQ-1 type.

On April 19, the Yemeni army’s air defenses shot down a reconnaissance fighter jet of the coalition while doing hostile work in Saada province, northern Yemen.
