New Zealand police thwarts second attack in Christchurch

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – New Zealand police on Tuesday has thwarted a second attack in Christchurch, which has witnessed a massacre against Muslims last month.

Police said they had defused a suspicious canister in a bag in Christchurch.

The bomb unit defused the bomb and a 33-year-old man from the city, was arrested, the district police chief said in a statement.
