Yemeni Parliament endorses Optional Protocol to CRC

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Sunday approved the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) to the communiqués procedure.

The ratification comes in the light of the report of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Freedoms and Human Rights on its study and review of the protocol, after the commitment of the government side, represented by the Ministry of Human Rights, to implement the Parliament’s recommendations regarding the Convention.
