Three members of Sudan military council resign

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – Three members of the ruling Transitional military Council in Sudan have resigned on Wednesday, according to a statement issued by the council.

The three members are Omar Zine El Abidine, Jalal al-Din al-Tayeb and Tayeb Babiker, the statement read.

“The resignation is pending before the President of the Council for a decision,” the official spokesman of the Council, Gen. Shams al-Din Kabashi, said.

The military Council composed of 10 members of the revolution, called for a meeting after leaders suspended talks with the country’s military rulers on Sunday.
