Five Sudanese mercenaries killed in Midi desert

HAJJAH, April 9 (YPA) – Snipers unit of the Yemeni army on Tuesday managed to shoot five Sudanese mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the five Sudanese mercenaries were killed in sniping attacks, which took place in the northern part of Midi desert.

Earlier in the day, the missile forces fired Zilizal-1 missile and artillery shells on gatherings of the militants in the northern part of A’ahem district, leaving deaths and injuries.

Meanwhile, the army forces launched an attack on the militants’ positions in the western part of Hiran, killing and injuring dozens of them.
