Update: Saudi-led coalition’s forces intensify ceasefire violations in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, March 16 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and their militants on Saturday intensified their breaches of a ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that the coalition-backed forces fired over 30 artillery shells on Durihamy district damaging civilians’ properties.

According to the official, the coalition-backed militants further targeted several areas of Hays district using heavy machine guns. They also targeted several areas of the 7 July residential area Hali district, using artillery and heavy machine guns.

 

The official added that the militants fired over 44 artillery shells on Faza area and southern part of Tuhita district, causing damages to civilians’ properties.
