UAE continues to mobilize its forces on the ground, in violation of the Hodeidah agreement

HODEIDAH, Jan. 17 (YPA) -Hodeidah province in western Yemen, has witnessed a new mobilization of the Saudi-led coalition militants and military materiel, which came as a culmination of a continuous series of violations by the enemy, especially the Emiratis.

In a short period since the announcement of the agreement, they have deployed observers in Hodeidah to date and build fortifications and ramparts in order to prepare for a new battle. As such, they have not withdrawn as was stated in the peace agreement.

Sources in Hodeidah have revealed that there has been a noticeable increase in the coalition troops and their mechanisms since late Monday in a number of areas of the province, coinciding with the escalating of frequent violations by mercenaries through bombing of residential neighborhoods in several areas in the province.

Since the entry of the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah, the UAE occupation state has been pushing its mercenaries to aggravate the situation and to commit multiple breaches because there is a premeditated Emirati intention to thwart the agreement.

Violations by the aggression’s militants have reached an advanced stage in the past hours, coinciding with the visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to the Gulf countries and the statements he made from the Saudi capital Riyadh about Yemen, especially the Hodeidah Agreement.

There appears to be an American green light for the aggression’s forces thwarting of the Hodeidah Agreement, now that the international pressure on Saudi Arabia that followed the killing of the Saudi journalist Khashoggi, seems to be slacking off again.

The US and Saudi Arabia have also made misleading accusations against the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees, claiming that they don’t abide by the ceasefire in Hodeidah, despite the fact that the recent breaches were proved by voice and image at a press conference held by Army spokesman of the Yemeni army Brigadier Yahya Sarie to be committed by the Saudi-led invaders.

Furthermore, several news outlets have published footage proving the illegal fortifications and military developments of the aggression troops in the eastern part of Hodeidah.
