Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition-backed militants in Nihem district

SANAA, Sept.19 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Wednesday launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militants in Nihem district, in Yemen’s Sanaa province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces attacked the militants at Al-Nahrain and Abidan sites, killing and injuring dozens of them, the official added.

The Yemeni army and popular committees stepped up their attacks on positions the Saudi-led coalition forces and their militants in all front in retaliation for the coalition massacres against innocent civilians.
