Iran’s army trains students form foreign countries

TEHRAN, Aug. 28 (YPA) – President of the Institute of Command and Staff of the Iranian Army said that students from India, Pakistan and Oman are training now in the institute.

Iranian Mehr news agency quoted Hussein Wali Wand saying that the institute trains currently 260 military students from Iran and several friendly country.

Oman is considered a strategic partner for Iran in the region.

A meeting was held between the two countries on May attended by high senior officiers from the two countries, that affirmed Iranian-Israeli cooperation ensuring the navigation security in Hurmoz strait.
