2 children killed in cluster bomb blast in Saada

SAADA, Aug. 24 (YPA) – At least two children were killed on Friday in an explosion of a cluster bomb earlier dropped by Saudi-led coalition warplanes in al-Ghol area of Kutaf district in Yemen’s northern province of Saada, a local official told Yemen Press Agency.

The two brothers Adil Rashid Mane’a Abu Rasin, aged 10, and Hussein Rashid Mane’a Abu Rasin, aged eight, were killed late the day as a result of the bomb blast, the official said.

Since March 2015, Saada province has witnessed an air bombardment with various types of bombs, including the internationally-banned cluster bombs.
