Saudi authorities close Al Wadiah port

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Saudi authorities on Thursday closed Al Wadiah port in in Al-Abar district in Hadramout province which links which links Saudi Arabia to Yemen, al-Araby  website reported.

Hundreds of trucks were stopped due to the closure of the port, the website added.

Sources close to the exiled Hadi’s government said that Saudi side closed the only land border crossing which thousands of Yemenis pass through it on daily basis for technical aspects were not disclosed.

A number of expatriates coming from Saudi territory said that the closure of the part caused the accumulation of hundreds of trucks and vehicles on both sides, while the passengers were forced to sleep on the ground, waiting to open the outlet.
