Deputy FM expresses concern over events in Taiz

SANAA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in the National Salvation Government, Hussein al-Ezzi, on Thursday expressed his concern about the great risks faced by the people of Taiz province.

“We are following with great concern the great dangers facing the civilian citizens in the city of Taiz due to the armed clashes that take place from time to time among the mercenary factions backed by Saudi-led coalition,” al-Ezzi said in his account on Twitter.

He added that those “extremist factions” do not care about the lives of citizens.

Taiz has witnessed a week of violent clashes between the coalition-backed armed factions, amid the complete absence of local and security authorities in the city.
