SANAA, Aug. (YPA) – Yemeni parliament rejected on Thursday the UN join team formed by the international Security Council to investigate the Thursday’s coalition air strikes targeting children bus in Dhahian district of Saada province.
The move came after the Security Council formed the join team belonged to the Saudi-led coalition, which waged Thursday’s air strikes on school bus and a popular market, killed 15 children and wounded 79 others.
The Parliament condemned a statement of the coalition’s spokesman said that the attack on the School bus in Saada was a legitimate military action consistent with international humanitarian law.
It stressed on the silence of United Nations and the international community encouraged the coalition to commit more war crimes against the Yemeni people.
The parliament called on the UN and the international community to form the impartial and independent commission to investigate to the coalition’s massacres in Yemen.
