168 tons of medicines arrived in Yemen: WHO

SANAA, July 21 (YPA) – The World Health Organization (WHO) has said seven of its planes carrying 168 tons of various medicines and medical supplies arrived at an airport of the capital in Sanaa.

The organization said on its Twitter account on Friday , it had sent the medicines supplies to cover the  shortage of health needs in Yemen due to the all-out siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition.

The coalition launched a major military operation against the western port of Hodeidah, which is the only outlet for the entry of humanitarian aid to the country.
