Supreme Political Council welcomes Malaysia decision

SANAA, July 1 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council on Saturday welcomed Malaysia decision of withdrawing its troops from Saudi coalition, in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

In June 29, Malaysia declared it will withdraw its forces from the Saudi-led coalition forces fighting Yemen.

The Council said that this step will strengthen ties of friendship and brotherhood between Yemen and Malaysia.

The Council called on the countries and governments involved in the coalition war against Yemen to take such stance and contribute to establish the peace and lift the siege in Yemen instead of being involved in more crimes against humanity.
