Sanaa forces penetrate into center of al-Jubah district in Marib

MARIB, Oct. 08 (YPA) – Bloody clashes between the national salvation government forces (Sanaa forces) and Saudi-led coalition forces have escalated on several fronts, south of Marib province, during which dozens were killed and wounded on both sides.

Local sources in Marib province told the Yemen Press Agency (YPA) that in the past few hours, Sanaa forces launched a large-scale military offensive on the coalition positions in the center of al-Jubah directorate.

According to the same sources, the fighting approaching the center of al-Jubah directorate, amid reports of rapid collapses in  the coalition forces.

The clashes are taking place between the two sides in the “Alfa” area, one of the sources said.

This comes after Sanaa forces managed at dawn to counter a large-scale attack by  the coalition forces towards Jabal al-Maghra, east of al-Jubah, and another attack towards camp “Khushina” in the desert of Um Rabesh.

The sources pointed the fighting left dozens dead and wounded on both sides, especially among the coalition forces, which lost three of its most prominent military leaders, including the leader Adham Abdullah Harsh.
