Scattered rain of varying intensity expected within the coming 24 hours

SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology ( NCM) affirmed that scattered rain of varying intensity would fall on most of Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that a chance to rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, would be on parts of the mountainous heights from Saada provinces in the north to Lahj in the south.

It expected the possibility of the formation of cells of cumulus clouds over parts of the deserts of Mahra, Hadramout and Shabwa, with the moderate winds reaching a maximum speed of 17 knots.

In the Socotra archipelago, the weather would be clear to partly cloudy with the possibility of light rain, and active winds.

The center alerted citizens in areas expected to fall rain from the waterways and valleys, advising motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads due to the decreased horizontal visibility.
