Report: 418 of coalition militants killed, 322 injured in west coast over 3 days

SANAA, June 5 (YPA) – The confrontations in the west coast between the Yemeni army and Saudi-led coalition militants during the past three days resulted in killing of 418 militants and wounding 322 others, a military source told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

The source said that 184 bodies along with 120 injured in a critical condition were evacuated from Mocha Hospital in Taiz province towards the southern port city of Aden.

The source revealed that there is a discrimination in the process of evacuating and treating the wounded in the ranks of the militants.

Some wounded are urgently transferred to Aden hospitals, while others are left in Mocha hospital, which lacks equipment and first aid units, he added.

On May 24, medical sources in Aden told Yemen Press Agency that Aden hospitals were crowded with huge numbers of wounded, who were brought from the west coast front, in excess of capacity of those hospitals.
