Sanaa’s Central Bank: Coalition countries printed 5.32 trillion riyals of illegal currency

SANAA, Jun. 23 (YPA) – The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen in Sanaa, Hashim Ismail, revealed that the Saudi-led coalition countries and mercenaries government have printed what amounted to 5.32 trillion riyals of illegal currency until June 2021, about three times what the bank printed between 1964 to 2014.

In a press conference held in Sanaa, Ismail said that the volume of contracts announced until the end of 2021 amounted to one trillion and 720 billion riyals, and all these amounts reached the so-called Bank of Aden in separate installments during the years 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Ismail added that the Bank of Aden signed a secret contract, which has not been disclosed yet, in the amount of two trillion riyals of (5000 category) in 2017, and the traitors are still planning how to issue this amount and pump it to the market, in addition to signing a new contract amounting to 600 billion riyals in the year 2019, all of these amounts reached the Bank of Aden in separate installments during the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.

He explained that the Central Bank in Aden signed recently a new contract in the amount of one trillion riyals in the year 2020, including an amount of 400 billion riyals of the counterfeit currency that reached the ports of Aden and Mukalla, which the Central Bank in Sanaa issued a decision on Tuesday to prevent its circulation and prohibit dealing with it.

“We are in a new stage of the economic aggression that started from the first day of the aggression,” Ismail said.

He indicated that the four countries called America, Britain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE supervised and planned the economic aggression against Yemen, and their decision from the first day was to use economic war whenever they failed militarily and on the ground.

The Governor of the Central Bank affirmed that the aggression and its mercenaries took control of one of the most important monetary policy, which is the currency printing tool, which is the most dangerous conspiracy, whose harm reaches every Yemeni citizen, according to a deliberate scheme to destroy the national currency.

He called on everyone to stand by the Central Bank in Sanaa to preserve the national currency with popular and societal awareness.

Ismail reiterated the readiness of the Central Bank in Sanaa for any serious steps to protect the national economy at the level of the Republic of Yemen.
