Human Rights Office in Taiz condemns coalition factions’ crimes

TAIZ, Jan. 06 (YPA) – The Human Rights Office in Taiz province on Thursday condemned the crimes committed by the armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition in the province.

The office expressed its concern about the increasing level of crimes in areas under the control of the Islah Party militias in the province.

In a statement it issued, the office referred to the crime of murdering the young man “Safwan Mohammed Al-Farhani”, who returned from exile early this year, and was intercepted and killed by armed elements of the coalition in ‘Jabal Jarrah ‘area in north of Taiz, in addition to the crime of liquidating the citizen “Ahmed Abdulaziz” last Monday, after the so-called security director deputy called “Al-Kadahi” stormed his house.

The statement held the coalition factions responsible for all crimes they commit against humanity, which amount to war crimes, calling on all international and local human rights organizations to monitor and document these crimes to prosecute the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
