STC’s military reinforcements arrive in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 27 (YPA) – Military reinforcements for the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s forces arrived in Abyan province after their exit from Aden province, informed sources in Abyan said on Sunday.

The sources confirmed that the STC forces refused to withdraw from Zenjbar and Ja’ar cities, while their reinforcements are still arriving at the “Special Forces” camp, the stadium, the police, and the October 7 camp in Abyan.

The confrontations are imminent again in the province, the sources expected.

The sources noted that Islah Party’s forces are still refusing to withdraw from Shoqra area, and they have sent armed groups towards the city of Aden to receive ‘Al-Ma’asheeq’ palace led by the leader “Sanad al-Rahwa.”

Meanwhile, the Saudi committee remains silent, in light of the lack of good intentions from the two parties, and their reservations about withdrawing from several main sites.
