UAE drone strike hits Islah militants camp in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 5 (YPA) – The UAE air force bombed a military camp belonging to Islah party in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen. This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on Local sources.

According to the sources, a large explosion was reportedly heard inside the Yafrs camp that funded by Islah leader leader Hammoud al-Mekhlafi.

Ambulances were seen rushing to the scene, and sources said the blast was caused by the shelling of drone plane.

Casualties have been reported, one of the sources confirmed

The “Hamad” camp, located in the Yafrs area of Jabal Habashi district, was set up by leader Hammoud Saeed al-Mekhlafi, includes fighters returned from the southern border of Saudi Arabia with Turkish and Qatari funding to confront the joint forces in the west coast led by pro-UAE commander Tariq Saleh and the UAE-backed  southern Transitional Council  (STC) militias .

The targeting came days after Islah party summoned hundreds of its members to the camp, without knowing the cause.
