Israeli companies market their products in UAE

ABU DHABI, Nov. 05 (YPA) – Israeli companies have begun aggressively marketing their products and goods in the UAE markets after the two sides normalized relations and signed memoranda of understanding in various fields.

According to the Palestinian “Ma’an” news agency, an Israeli delegation arrived in Dubai last week, on a private plane, and met with Emirati business leaders and government officials.

The delegation included a Mossad former official, who has now turned into a businessman and botanist with experience in desert crops, and he had previously visited the UAE before the declaration of normalization and worked behind the scenes to strengthen the relations of the two parties.

Israeli companies’ representatives had held private meetings with potential partners, and the visit included sightseeing during breaks, the agency added.

On August 13, 2020, the UAE and Israel reached an agreement to normalize relations between them. They signed the agreement on September 15 in Washington, along with Bahrain that joined the list of normalizing countries before Sudan followed it on October 23.
