Saudi Arabia begins mass expulsion of Yemeni expatriates

SANAA, Oct. 7 (YPA) – Saudi authorities have announced new measures that would expel a large segment of Yemeni expatriates.

According to the Hadi embassy in Riyadh, Saudi authorities have put two options for Yemeni expatriates whether paying accommodation fees with their families or final exit from their territories.

Yemeni expatriates face the problem of not being able to pay accommodation fees due to due to the suspension of economic activity in the kingdom as a result of the coronavirus.

According to the new Saudi declaration, those who leave its territory will not be allowed to return until these fees have been paid.
