Damascus hosts Palestinian reconciliation between Fatah, Popular Front

SANAA, Oct. 7 (YPA) – The Syrian capital on Tuesday hosted a round of talks between Fatah and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) to complete reconciliation efforts and ending the division.

“The meeting came to complete the efforts of national reconciliation and end the division, and to strengthen Palestinian unity understandings in the face of the deal of the century, the waves of Arab-Zionist normalization, and the annexation project,” said a statement issued by the PFLP.

“It also comes in order to rebuild the PLO, unify the Palestinian political system, and start activating the comprehensive and rolling popular resistance, as well as to form a unified national leadership,” the statement added.
