Palestinian child, woman injured in Zionist bombing of Gaza Strip

SANAA, Aug 15 (YPA) – A Palestinian child and woman were injured, on Friday night, as a result of the Zionist enemy aircraft targeting agricultural land east of Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, which continued its raids on separate areas of the Strip.
“Palestine Today” agency reported, quoting Palestinian medical sources, that a 3-year-old girl was wounded in the face, as well as a woman was wounded in separate areas of her body, as a result of flying shrapnel from a missile after the Zionist enemy aircraft targeted agricultural land with two missiles east of Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The sources stated that the injury was transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip to receive the necessary treatment.

The Zionist enemy warplanes bombed targets in the Gaza Strip, under the pretext of responding to the launching of incendiary balloons from the Strip, towards the settlements adjacent to the Strip.

Eyewitnesses indicated that a group of Palestinian youths escaped from the Zionist bombing that targeted them east of Al-Bureij, pointing out that none of them was hurt.

The Zionist warplanes also bombed Ashkelon site and the resistance observatory in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as a resistance site in Khan Yunis.

Zionist entity announced – earlier on Friday – the outbreak of 45 fires since Friday morning, as a result of the continued launching of incendiary balloons from the Gaza Strip, launched by the Palestinians, due to the enemy’s failure to implement the understandings of the recent truce agreement.
