SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – Iraqi presidency condemned Turkey’s targeting on the Sidakan area in northern Iraq and considered it a “blatant attack” and a “serious violation of sovereignty.”

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic confirmed, in a statement issued on Tuesday that the repeated Turkish military violations of Iraqi lands are a serious violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.
The spokesman called for stopping all military operations that would harm good neighborly relations, and for relying on dialogue and understanding to solve border problems between the two neighboring countries.
