Civil Defense Authority warns citizens of walking in waterways

SANAA, Aug. 7 (YPA) – The Civil Defense Department at the Ministry of Interior renewed its warning to all citizens of walking in the streams of water or being present near them, due to the heavy rains and the possibility of torrents flow, in the capital and provinces, as this poses a risk to life.

 The dive and water rescue team of the Civil Defense Department recovered the bodies of three citizens who drowned in water dams in Sanaa and Mahweet provinces.

According to the Civil Defense Department, a team of its members recovered the body of 15-year-old Aseel Al-Hafallah Ali Saad, a 15-year-old from Dalaa area of Shibam Kawkaban who drowned while trying to swim .

 In Sanaa governorate, the Civil Defense recovered the body of 20-year-old Mohammed Ahmed al-Fadael, who drowned while trying to swim in The Mukhtar Dam in Bani Hashish district.

In the same province, the civil defense team recovered the body of 21-year-old Gibran Mujahid al-Aaqr, who drowned while trying to swim in The Dawood Dam in Bani Hashish district.
