Secret agreements provide for coalition countries’ control over Yemen oil resources: Oil Minister
SANAA, July 4 (YPA) – Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daress on Saturday said that there are secret illegal agreements between mercenaries and Saudi-led coalition countries provide for the latter’s control over Yemen’s oil resources.
Daress assured Al-Masirah TV channel that “the oil ships that were released Saturday do not meet the market needs.”
“We are used to the United Nations promises, but a clear mechanism from the United Nations is required to prevent the detention of oil ships,” he added.
He explained that Sanaa bears the fines for delaying of the oil ships on a daily basis, and some of them have been held for more than a hundred days, indicating that Sanaa has tried as much as possible to rationalize the consumption of fuel supplies, especially in light of the all-out blockade imposed on Yemen.
