HADRAMOUT, Feb. 20 (YPA) – Armed elements of the Hadrami Elite, funded by the UAE, stormed the house of journalist Imad Al-Dini, on Thursday, in the Khalaf area of the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout governorate in eastern Yemen.
Human rights sources reported that the armed elements broke down the door of the house and assaulted Al-Dini in front of his wife and children before taking him to an unknown location, without giving any clear reasons for the assault.
The incident was widely condemned by Hadramout activists on social media platforms, who demanded that the fate of the religious journalist be revealed, his immediate release, and an end to the violations against activists who expose the corruption tycoons in the governorate.
