Italy records 34 new deaths from Corona virus

SANAA, June 25 (YPA) – Italy announced on Thursday that it recorded 34 new deaths caused by the emerging corona virus, compared to 30 cases in the daily statistic published on Wednesday.

The Italian Civil Defense Authority said that the general number of registered deaths caused by the new Corona virus rose during the past 24 hours by 34 cases, and therefore the number of victims has thus reached 34,678 people since the outbreak began in the country on February 21.

This figure indicates a relative stability of the daily death toll, after witnessing a continuous decline during the last days, as this indicator in the data published on June 24 reached 30.

The Civil Defense Authority stated that the number of new injuries hit 296 cases, compared to 190 in the June 24 census, bringing the total number to 239,706.

The Civil Defense Authority indicated that the number of active cases decreased during the past 24 hours to 18,303 cases, and the number of patients in intensive care facilities decreased to 103 people.

It also reported an increase in the number of people recovering by 614 cases, as the index rose from 186725 people, representing more than 75% of the number of injured.
