34 new Covid-19 cases reported in occupied Yemen

ADEN, June 5 (YPA) – Health authorities in Saudi-led coalition-backed government have on Thursday confirmed that 34 new cases of the new coronavirus have been recorded, including five deaths, in Yemen.

The Control Committee tasked with confronting corona virus said in a tweet, that it had recorded 13 new infections in Taiz, including one death, and 11 cases in Lahj, including one death.

In Hadhramaut, seven confirmed cases have been recorded, including two deaths, while two infections were recorded in Abyan and Dhalea provinces, and one death in Mahrah, the committe added.

According to the Committee, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Yemen since April 10 has risen to 453, with 103 deaths and 17 recoveries.
