Islah militants retake over government complex in Socotra

SOCOTRA, May 5 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed Islah militants on Tuesday attacked and retook over the government complex in Socotra province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that restoring the complex by the Islah militants came after being controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias for many hours.

Dozens of residents loyal to the STC forces organized a protest rally in front of the government complex gate in Hadiboh city, against violations committed by Islah militants in the province.
