Clashes erupt in hospital in Taiz, medics team besieged

TAIZ, May 6 (YPA) –  Violent clashes on Sunday broke out inside Thawrah hospital at the center of Taiz city, as the medics were trapped in, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The clashes continued while medical staff  were besieged in.

Part of the city is under control between rival forces backed by Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, which they all are vying over control the part of the city.     

Reasons behind the fighting have yet to be known.
