Civilian killed, others injured due coalition’s continual violations in Hodeidah in 24 hours

HODEIDAH, March 16 (YPA) – At least a citizen was killed and several others wounded by Saudi-led coalition forces’ fire in Hodeidah province during the past 24 hours, in new violations of the ceasefire agreement in the province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

The number of violations committed by the coalition forces amounted to 240, including 28 attacks on monitoring points in al-Khameri, al-Saleh, Kilo16 and al-Mandhar areas, and the flight of six warplanes over the 50th Street, al-Mandhar, Kilo 16, the besieged al-Durayhimi city and Hays city, as well as the flight of six spy planes over the 50th Street and al-Mandhar area, according to the official.

The breaches also included the establishment of five combat fortifications in al-Jabaliya area, the 50th Street and the Kilo 16 area, in addition to 53 breaches by artillery and missile bombardment and 138 breaches by firing live bullets.

A number of citizens were wounded due to the continued attacks by the coalition mercenaries on the residential neighborhoods near the 50th Street, while a citizen died from wounds he sustained as a result of the attacks, the official reported.

He added that one of the supply personnel at al-Khameri monitoring point was injured when the mercenaries fired at the point, while a citizen was injured by a shrapnel of an artillery shell fired by the coalition forces on al-Jabaliya area in al-Tuhita district.
