Coalition arrests prominent commander to be tried military

MARIB, March 14 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Saturday have arrested a prominent commander at the sixth military region, and brought him to military trial after the awful defeat of the coalition forces on Jawf front.

Saudi commander of the coalition forces on Thursday directed his forces to arrest Mohammad al-Salahi, chief of intelligence division at the sixth military region, and to jail him in Tadaween camp in Marib province, informed sources told Yemen Press Agency on Saturday.

Al-Salahi was arrested as he escaped from the Jawf front, according to the sources.

The coalition forces on Saturday referred al-Salahi to military trial on charges of negligence and failure to perform his duty and issuing wrong military orders, the sources added.
