SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – Industry Minister Abdul Wahab Yahya al-Durah briefed on Saturday the textile factory’s preparations to produce medical masks to cover the of the local market needs.
During his visit to inspect the factory, the minister affirmed that raising production came to carry out the directives and recommendations of the Higher Ministerial Committee for Epidemic Control to take precautionary measures to confront Coronavirus.
Al-Durah said the ministry would exert all efforts to provide the capabilities and overcome difficulties that face the factory and its workers, as well as to double the factory’s production from the medical masks to meet hospital, health center, companies and factories’ needs.
The minister pointed to the ministry’s interest in supporting the national industries, including the textile, cement, and pharmaceutical industries, in the context of implementing the national vision for building the state.
He pointed to the ministry’s readiness to support and develop the textile factory in all its sectors according to a modern economic vision and plan for completion and to meet the local market’s needs.
