Salvation Gov’t reveals motives for coalition attacks in Mahra

SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government revealed on Tuesday the motives of Saudi-led coalition attacks on the people of Mahra province.

In its condemnation statement, the government said that Saudi Arabia “is seeking to pass its old-new scheme”, referring to Saudi Arabia’s dream of owning an outlet on the Arabian Sea.

The statement hailed the positions of Mahra sons and all Yemeni people in confronting the coalition and its ambitions.

“We condemn the criminal behavior and practices of the Saudi occupation state in Mahra province, the last of which is in Habrout area in Shahin district,” an official source in the office of the Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor said.

He added:” The behavior of the Saudi occupation in Mahra is a new chapter of the violation of Yemeni sovereignty by Saudi Arabia, in the context of its aggression and occupation that affected all Yemeni people.”
