Shura Speaker condoles on death of Sultan Qaboos

SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Speaker of the Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidaroos on Sunday sent a cable of condolences to Chairman of the Omani Consultative Council (Majlis Al Shura) Khalid bin Hilal al-Maawali and Chairman of the State Council Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri on the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said.

Al-Aidarous praised the wisdom and experience of Sultan Qaboos and his loyalty towards the Arab and Islamic nation issues, noting that the deceased had laid the foundations of the modern Omani Renaissance in all fields.
