Supreme Judicial Council approves new judicial movement

SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – The Supreme Judicial Council on Tuesday approved the appointment of a judge in the Supreme Court, and the transfer of several others to serve in some courts based on the nominations submitted by the Judicial Inspection Authority.

This came during the Council’s weekly meeting chaired by its Head Judge Ahmed Yahya al-Mutwakil.

In the meeting, Judge al-Mutwakil reviewed the results of his meeting and the Attorney General with President and members of the Supreme Political Council, during which they discussed the release of some prisoners in the case No. 5 of 2012 concerning the bombing of the presidential palace mosque and the measures taken by the Supreme Judicial Council.

The Judicial Council also dealt with the reports of the Judicial Inspection Commission and the Attorney General regarding the same incident and took appropriate decisions.
