SANAA, April 1 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Saudi coalition forces Turki al-Maliki on Monday admitted the military operation launched by the coalition on Saada, northern Yemen, which targeted a rural hospital and left seven dead and eight wounded.
In a press statement, al-Maliki said that they signed with a representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations “a memorandum of understanding to protect children in Yemen from bombing.”
Al-Maliki confirmed the continuation of the coalition aircrafts to back the militias loyal to the coalition by waging airstrikes on areas in Sanaa, Hodeidah, Nehm, Taiz and Dalea.
The spokesman’s remarks affirme the coalition forces’ continual violations in Yemen through continued airstrikes that kill civilians, including children.
